Dust Collector Fans

Dust collector fans are widely used to connect with a dry dust removal system, such as cartridge filter dust collector, bag-type dust collector, etc.

What’s a Dust Collector Fan

A dust collector fan is used to provide negative force at a certain air volume and air pressure to pull out the air through a dust collector. The dust in the air will be filtered and kept in the dust collector and fresh air will be pulled out through the outlet of the fan. The air coming out from the outlet of the dust collector fans will be discharged into the air or sent back to the recycling system for reuse.

OUR PRODUCT

Roltec Dust Collector Fans

A-type dust collector fan

Direct drive type, the fan will be installed on the dust collector with a small supporting frame normally on the top of the dust collector or at one side.

C-type dust collector fan

Belt drive type, the fan normally will sit on the ground or a frame just beside the dust collector. A chimney will be necessarily connected to the outlet of the fan if you want to discharge the treated air into the air.

D-type dust collector fan

Coupling drive type, the fan will be connected to the motor by couplings. A stable and high-quality bearing box is required for this type of fan. It’s normally used as a ventilator for big dust collectors.

Product Features

High efficiency
High Technology

Roltec dust collector fan is well designed according to the air pressure and volume required by the dust removal system. The purpose of the fan ventilation is to pull out the dust but keep the particles which is necessary for recycling.

Custom Designed
Custom Designed

A fan for a dust collector is normally designed according to the working conditions and installation space left for the fan.

Easy Maintenance
Easy Maintenance

The simple and compact structure of the Roltec dust collector blowers makes installation and maintenance easy.

High Ventilation Volume at a Low Pressure
High Ventilation Volume at a Low Pressure

Depending on the working conditions, the full pressure of a duct collector fan is normally bellow 3000Pa, but with high air ventilation volume.

Highly Experienced for Dust Removal Fans in Blast Cleaning Industry

As a producer of blast cleaning machines and related dust collectors, Roltec has the most first-hand experience in this industry. The technology of a blast machine dust collector is to keep the steel abrasives in the recycling system which pulls out the wasted dust. It’s very accurate technology. If you are making blasting machines, you can contact us to find a good solution for both dust collectors with fans.

Aluminum impeller for dust collector fan

Customized Explosion Proof Dust Collector Fans Available

Considering the working condition of a dust collector, the air to be treated might contain powder which is flammable and explosive. To ensure the safety of operation, our dust collector fans will be designed and made explosion-proof. Normally, we use Aluminum impellers instead of the normal steel ones.

How to stop my dust collector fan from getting dusty?

A dust collector fan is always working in a dusty condition. If the fan gets dusty, it will influence the working performance and also the temperature of the fan and related accessories will be high which is dangerous. To keep the dust collector fan clean, you have to do regular cleaning for the impellers, filters, etc. Also, you have to keep the space tidy, especially at the inlet and outlet. If there’s any abnormal temperature rise of the motors, you have to stop the fan and do necessary maintenance before starting to use ait gain.

Why does my dust collector fan collect oil on the impeller?

First of all, you have to check if there’s any oil in the air that your dust collector is collecting.  Then you can check if there’s any leakage of grease or oil from the bearing box, etc. Third, you have to check if the working environment is clean without oil. Keep regular cleaning and maintenance for your fans to avoid oil sticking on your impellers.

What type of fan should I choose for my dust collector?

There are many options for you when choosing a fan for your dust collector. The most common one is the backward curved fans. You can contact us with your dust removal conditions and our technical team will have the best solution for you.
